The Secretary of State has today rejected Gladman Development Limited’s appeal and refused planning permission to build houses at Glebe Farm.  The Developer has also been ordered to pay the Town Council’s costs as the appeal was found to have had no reasonable chance of success.

VACANCY IN THE OFFICE OF

TOWN COUNCILLOR

Notice is hereby given in accordance with Section 87 (2) of the Local Government Act, 1972 that, due to the retirement of Cllr D Barry, a casual vacancy has occurred in the office of Councillor for the Town of Winslow.

If any TEN electors for the ward or parish give notice in writing to the Returning Officer by Friday 24th. November 2017 requesting that an election be held, the vacancy will be filled at a by-election.

The Returning Officer is Andrew Grant and his address, to which such notice should be sent is, Electoral Services, The Gateway, Gatehouse Road, Aylesbury, Bucks HP19 8FF

If no such notice is received, the Town Council will, at their meeting on

Thursday 1st. Feb 2018 (or as soon as possible thereafter) fill the vacancy by co-option of a suitably qualified person.
