A NEW MAYOR AND DEPUTY MAYOR FOR WINSLOW

At the recent Annual meeting of Winslow Town Council Wendy Castle was elected as the new Town Mayor.  Wendy became a             member of the Council some 13 years ago and in that time has served on most of the various committees.  Councillor Castle said:

“During my membership of the Council my aspirations have remained much the same; we have a very special Town, with a                    caring and friendly community that deserves to be protected and enhanced wherever possible.  I look forward to a continuation of        the good and necessary work carried out by the Council and to improved relationships and communications with all the Town’s                                         organisations”.

At the same meeting, Councillor Harry Chambers was elected Deputy Mayor.  Councillor Chambers said:

“I look forward to assisting the new Town Mayor during her time in office”.
