Relocating the Playground : Public meeting

[updated 28 November] A public meeting took place on Sunday 28 November to discuss the Council's plans which, at some future date, would involve the creation of a new children's playground on a site within Tomkins Park, to replace the one alongside Elmfields Gate. This is an integral part of plans to replace the existing Sports Club building with a new larger Community and Sports Pavilion, with associated parking.

A report provides comprehensive background to the whole project and explains why the Council has proposed this siting for a new playground. A powerpoint presentation was give at the meeting. The report and the powerpoint presentation can be downloaded from the Council's web site. See links below.

Any comments on this proposal should be sent to no later than Thursday 2 December so that they can be collated and considered by Council at its meeting the following week.
