Electric Vehicle chargers planned for Public Hall car park - update 24 March

Winslow Town Council has reached an agreement with EZ-Charge who will plan, provide, operate and maintain Electric Vehicle chargers in the town's Public Hall car park. Initially there will be four parking bays with chargers, all of which will be suitable for local residents or employees to charge their vehicles over several hours. Two of the chargers will offer rapid charging (60kW/120kW) for visitors to the town centre who need to charge their vehicles more quickly. The other two will offer 11kW/22kW charging rates. The chargers will be located alongside Elmfields Gate boundary to the left of the entrance barrier, as this will also allow for additional chargers to be installed at a later date when necessary.

The cabling for a new power supply is being installed between 17 and 28 March and National Grid expect this to be in service by mid-April. EZ Charge are aimimg to install the hardware for the charging hub between 25 March and 10 April - so it is hoped that the hub will be in service by the end of April 2025.
