Road closures and traffic signals (update 15 November)

Local road closures planned in the coming weeks are as follows.

REVISED TIMES & DATES : Winslow Road in Little Horwood (the road from Winslow to Little Horwood) may be closed between 9am and 3pm from 13 to 19 November for survey and investigation works.

Buckingham Road and Great Horwood Road - traffic signals at junction from 17 - 28 November for installation of Toucan crossing of Buckingham Road oustside new station.

Installation of the Toucan crossing will also involve overnight closure of Buckingham Road – at least between Great Horwood Road and George Pass Avenue (and possibly starting at Highfield Road) between 9pm (10pm Thursday 27th) on and 6am from 22 to 30 November.

Weekend closures of A421 west of Finmere and A4421 at Newton Purcell - probably 8pm Friday to 6am Monday (to be confirmed). On the A421 closures are 05 December to 08 December, 16 January to 19 January, 23 January to 26 January and 30 January to 02 February. A4421 closures are 12 December to 15 December. These are for changes to bring the new road bridges at the HS2 crossings into use.
