The following road closures are expected :
- Whaddon Road north of Mursley (to A421 roundabout) from 10 January until 24 April.
- Bletchley Road north of Newton Longville from 17 to 28 January.
- Verney Road may be closed between Winslow and Verney Junction 31 January to 4 February.
- Little Horwood Road from Winslow to Little Horwood 21 February to 25 March.

[updated 3 December] A public meeting took place on Sunday 28 November to discuss the Council's plans which, at some future date, would involve the creation of a new children's playground on a site within Tomkins Park, to replace the one alongside Elmfields Gate. Buckinghamshire Council has launched a consultation about its proposals to build a 10 hectare Sports Hub on land alongside Buckingham Road and Great Horwood Road, opposite Sir Thomas Fremantle School. The consultation has been extended until 31 January 2022.
The facilities proposed include:
- 3G football pitch
- Grass rugby pitch
- Three tennis courts
