Buckingham Road A413 footway closures

Network Rail is undertaking work to begin the reinforcement of the railway bridge on the A413 during the school summer holiday period. The south/west side footway (on the school side of the road) will be closed from 25 July to 19 August (originally this was 9 August); then work will switch to the north/east side footway until 31 August. Furze Lane – bridge closure progress report

Furze Lane – bridge closure progress report

The new (replacement) footbridge across the railway linking the Bloor Homes development area with the area around the Burial Ground and Sir Thomas Fremantle School is now open.

EWR Progress report for May published

The latest Progress Report for the East West Rail project has been published, providing an update to May 2022. This can be found at EWR2 Project Newsletter - Spring 2022.
