Road Closure – Verney Road Addington – Starting 26th Oct

THE BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

 (Verney Road, Addington)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER, 2017

 BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL has made an Order, which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Verney Road, Addington, which commences 20 metres either side of the Bridge.

The alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be via Verney Road, Burleys Road, Granborough Road, East Claydon Road, Winslow Road, Church Way, Sandhill Road, and vice versa.

The closure is required whilst Network Rail works take place and it is anticipated that the works will commence on 26 October 2017 and will take approximately 1 day between 09:30 and 15:30 to complete.

The Order will come into operation on 26 October 2017 when the appropriate signs are lawfully displayed and will continue for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the said works have been completed whichever is the earlier. Penalties for not observing these restrictions will be as prescribed by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Road Traffic Act 1991. Dated 4 October 2017
